Profile

Mrs. Ayotola Ayoyinka Ayodeji is a distinguished legal practitioner with over 33 years of experience at the Nigerian Bar. She has also excelled as a lecturer at institutions such as London Metropolitan University, University of Westminster, Centre for Law and Business, Lagos, and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos campus. In addition to her legal career, she has over 36 years of experience in print journalism. Mrs. Ayodeji has served as an Independent Director on various boards, including as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Center for Justice, Mercy, and Reconciliation (CJMR), Director at African Newspaper of Nigeria Plc, and Independent Non-Executive Director at Wemabod Limited. 

She made history as the youngest and first female Secretary of the Parish Church Council (PCC) and has been involved globally as a Shadow Member at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London, and a Governing Council Member at Grange School, Ikeja, Lagos. Mrs. Ayodeji is also a published author, with works including “The Fresh Girls’ Bistro: Place Your Order Please!”, “Pearls for my Daughter, Oklahoma,” and articles in the Journal of International Banking Law. She balances her professional achievements with a fulfilling personal life, being happily married with children and grandchildren. Mrs. Ayodeji’s career is a testament to her versatility, leadership, and significant contributions to law, education, media, and social justice.
