Emmanuel Efuntayo
CHAIRMAN
Emmanuel Ibukun Efuntayo is a highly regarded Estate Surveyor and Valuer with a wealth of experience in the industry. As the principal partner and CEO of Ibukun Efuntayo and Company, he specializes in property management, facility management, property taxation, and valuation services. Mr. Efuntayo is recognized for his expertise and professionalism, holding the esteemed title of Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).
Having worked with reputable organizations such as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Eko International Bank (now Polaris Bank), Mr. Efuntayo brings a comprehensive background in the field. He obtained his early education in Estate Management from the Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State, where he was part of the pioneer group in Estate Management. In 1982, he earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management from the Polytechnic. Mr. Efuntayo furthered his education with a degree program in Management and Law from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in 2003. In addition to this, he holds a postgraduate diploma in Management from Liverpool University, an MBA from UI School of Business, and an MSc in Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
To enhance his business acumen, Mr. Efuntayo attended the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS) as part of the Chief Executive Program (CEP 21). He has participated in numerous conferences, even presenting papers at select events. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (IOD), Mr. Efuntayo demonstrates his commitment to professional excellence. Furthermore, he currently serves as the chairman of the Property, Construction, and Infrastructure group of the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), where he previously held the role of National Treasurer and now serves as the vice president on the board.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Efuntayo is actively involved in his community. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi and has previously served as Honorary Treasurer. Presently, he holds the position of president-elect for the club. As a member of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Mr. Efuntayo contributes his expertise to the branch’s Inter-Governmental subcommittee. Furthermore, he serves as the chairman of Ocean and Land Insurance Brokers and sits on the boards of Werkmeister Facility Managers, Agenteur Property Development and Management International Limited, and Valustrat Nigeria Plc.
Emmanuel Efuntayo’s extensive travels have broadened his horizons and informed his professional practice. He is happily married with children, leading a balanced life between his successful career and personal commitments.
