Profile
Arigbede Olawale is a seasoned and highly motivated real estate professional with over 20 years in real estate structuring, finance and mortgage, asset and property management and project management. He has held several positions such as Head of Asset Management at UPDC Plc., Head of Real Estate Structured Transaction and Advisory (Lagos and South) at ASO Savings and Loans Plc and Head of Real Estate and Mortgage at Safetrust Mortgage Bankers.
Olawale possess extensive hands-on experience as financier, investor, developer and advisor in the development of real estate projects that have led to the provision of over 2,000 units of housing designed for affordable; mid-market and upper segments within various estates located around Nigeria
He has also been involved in the creation of alternative financing models for the development of affordable housing in various parts of the country with the aim of creating a robust and steady flow of housing inventory for the onward creation of mortgages with emphasis on increasing the housing stock that will serve as collateral for such mortgages. Olawale successfully managed the real estate portfolio of the largest Real Estate Investment Trust in Nigeria (UPDC REIT) and grew the annual rental income from 69% to 98% in two years.
Olawale Arigbede Holds a Masters in Facility Management (MSc) and Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Estate Management, both from University of Lagos. He is an Associate member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
